San Francisco Forty Niners nas named Nick Sorensen as their new defensive coordinator. Sorensen has been the Niners corner back coach and now will lead the entire defense replacing Steve Wilks. This move will possibly shore up the secondary and linebacker area to their front defensive front where San Francisco often had trouble with teams running and passing down and across the middle of the field. The Niners allowed the third highest rushing yards and points allowed per game despite their elite front five.
